What are some cheap but creative gifts for Valentine’s Day?

“I’m here with the Youth Action Northern Ireland youth workers and champions! We want to know if you have any ideas for some cheap but creative gifts for Valentine’s Day?” – YANI

Any homemade gifts and show you ‘get’ them can go down well – whether that’s making them a playlist, or cooking their favourite meal.

If you live near a city, there’s usually a lot of free exhibitions in museums and art galleries.

Or you could volunteer together. Not only is that free, but you get a warm fuzzy glow from helping others, while also getting the same warm fuzzy glow of staring into your partner’s eyes.

Another thoughtful (and free!) idea is making a treasure hunt for your partner – hiding clues around the house, or sending them on Snapchat – with a prize at the end. Top tip: You can be the prize!
